In 1996, WFPA began serving its customers through well planned organizational assessment projects.  The vision WFPA has followed since the beginning is to provide meaningful information to key executives and managers as they determine their organization’s direction.

Assessment Planning

To achieve this vision, WFPA works with its clients on Planning, Implementing, Analyzing, Reporting, and Action Planning.

Decision Support Inquiry Model

WFPA uses its Decision Support Inquiry Model in all assessment projects and applies its Instructional Design Methodology for all developmental projects. Any assessment process begins with understanding why (Purpose) the assessment is being done and what the key executives and managers need to understand to make sound decisions (Questions).

                         Decision Support and Inquiry Model

Applying the Decision Support Inquiry Model allows WFPA to quickly gain an understanding of the goals and objectives of the assessment.  Building on that information, WFPA then identifies who the key data owners are, how the data is stored (Information)  and the right data collection tool (methodology).

Development Planning

Once the right tools are in place, WFPA works with the client to collect the data, analyze it and use the results to plan future actions.

Instructional Design Methodology

Most instructional design methodologies begin with a needs assessment.  This practice fails to validate the business need or to establish a clear understanding of what the training program is to accomplish.

WFPA carefully studied this problem and with other training professionals, developed its Instructional Design Methodology.

Instructional Design Model

This methodology recognizes that evaluation needs to take place at all phases of the process. WFPA’s Instructional Design Model (IDM) reflects the sound decision support philosophy it uses on all of its projects.
