Through years of research and of working with training managers and sponsors, instructors and designers, WFPA has designed a post training series of surveys to measure Student Satisfaction, Learning (without testing), and Application of New Skills & Knowledge.
Training Evaluation
Using measures of key interactions, WFPA measures the student’s reaction to the course, their purpose or objective for attending, and the support they perceive they will receive in applying their new found knowledge and skills.
WFPA also designed a section of the instrument to measure learning using the Retrospective Post-Pretest process. This survey technique has been shown to strongly correlate with pretest and post-test scores without the hassle, or stigma of testing.
To measure application, WFPA designed a simple seven question survey that is given to students 30 to 60 days after returning to the job. These items are compared with key items on the Student Satisfaction instrument providing a clear picture of the support and impact the training is having on the organization.
Employee Satisfaction
The WFPA employee satisfaction survey is built on using the Decision Support Inquiry Model. Discussions with senior executives, managers and employees, resulted in WFPA’s 32 item survey . It has been validated through administration to over 15,000 employees.
Key areas addressed by the survey include Job Satisfaction, Knowledge of Business & Skills, Performance Management, Teamwork & Involvement, and Leadership. The survey includes an opportunity for employees to add comments about improving the operation and work environment. WFPA can administer either a paper-based or web-based version.
Usability & Human Factors Engineering
Usability is the art and science of designing interactive systems and processes that are easy to learn, efficient to use, flexible, and safe. The goal of our usability practice is the delivery of effective and efficient designs that are usable by the target audience. Working with your design and development teams, WFPA applies usability design principles and methods that deliver simple and effective results in any process where there is interaction
with people.
Our experience includes usability evaluation on information systems ranging from basic web site design to complex business work centers, from data entry to senior executive business analysis systems.. We apply a User-Centered Design process which is the industry standard approach to usability and actively involves members of the target group throughout the design process.
WFPA can assist your design and development teams to create products that deliver business results for your customers and employees.
